Trainers who read dogs, not scripts
K9Lift is a small, local training team β REPLACE_WITH_TRAINER_NAME and a hands-on group of certified trainers who focus on clear communication, consistency, and methods backed by current behavior science.
We don't use fear or pain-based tools. If a technique wouldn't work on a nervous first-time dog owner, we don't use it on your dog either.
What training with K9Lift looks like
Our lab used to drag us down the block. A few weeks in, walks finally feel relaxed instead of a wrestling match.
They were patient with our rescue's fear of strangers and never pushed faster than he was ready for. Huge difference at the door now.
Clear instructions, realistic homework, and they actually checked in after the program ended. Felt like real support, not a sales pitch.
Individual results vary based on a dog's temperament, history, and owner consistency with homework between sessions. Testimonials reflect individual client experiences.

Before you call
We work with puppies from about 8 weeks old through senior dogs, and all breeds and sizes. Your plan is built around your dog's age, health, and temperament.
No. K9Lift trains using positive-reinforcement methods. We're happy to explain our approach in detail during your free consult.
It depends on the dog and the goal β a puppy foundations class runs a set number of weeks, while behavior work is more individualized. We'll give you a realistic estimate after the evaluation, not a generic number.
We don't promise a specific outcome, since every dog and household is different. What we do commit to is a clear plan, consistent methods, and follow-up support until you feel confident using the tools yourself.
